BEGINNERS’ LEVEL (A + B)

650 kr (regular) / 450 kr (student)

Improve your basic dancing skills and work on new basic moves. You will work with leading and following, which are essential to social dancing, and get an understanding of the fundamentals of the dance.

You will acquire a repetoire of different, fundamental variations within 6-count, 8-count and Charleston which you can practise on the social dance floor. 

Two rounds: A + B

Beginners’ level consists of an A- and B-round. Beginners’ A is the Spring semester and Beginners’ B is the Autumn semester. The material is different between the two but it does not matter which semester you take first as both rounds will make sure to cover the basics. 

You will need to complete both rounds, A and B, before you can sign up for the Improvers’ Level. Furthermore, we strongly recommend you to have social danced regularly throughout the semesters — classes alone will only get you so far.  There is no need to sign up with a partner, In class we constantly switch partners(rotate), and you will dance with all the other people on your level.

REQUIREMENTS:

• You participated both days in our Beginner's Workshop, or

• You have participated in a beginners’ workshop of equal length elsewhere, or 

• You have a minimum of 6 months basic lindy hop experience from elsewhere.
