WEEKEND WORKSHOP - SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
No previous experience is required
Learn all the basic steps of Lindy Hop and get ready for our weekly classes on Beginners’ Level!
The Beginners’ Workshop is held at the beginning of each semester, leading up to the start of the Beginners’ Level weekly classes. It lasts 10 hours divided over two days, 5 hours each day. Note: second day is usually more tiring because we also add more energetic Charleston moves to the agenda. For the exact time, please see “Time and Date” below. There is no need to sign up with a partner, In class we constantly switch partners (rotate), and you will dance with all the other people on your level.
You must attend both days – no exceptions!
After the beginner's workshop, you have the minimum experience required to participate on Beginners’ Level. It is possible and recommended for new dancers to sign up for both the Workshop and the Level at the same time.
However, please note that if you have not tried Lindy Hop before and signed up for both the Beginner’s Workshop and the Beginners’ Classes, but are unable to attend the workshop (e.g. because of illness), you will not be able to attend the weekly classes (Beginners’ Level) either, as the workshop is a requirement for attending our classes. Should this happen, please send us an email and we will refund you.
